Champlin Elementary School Reviews
Quality Score: 5 Post Date:2005-11-15
“I have had 2 kids attend this school, my 1st started in Oxbow and moved to Champlin, I was disappointed at the time that he would have to move to the 'old school' however I discovered in a really short time that this was the best move for him. The teachers and principal at the school know all of the kids. My daughter loved the school and was sad to move on to middle school. We have no kids in Champlin now, but we really miss the school. I would say the only thing it lacks is the programs for the gifted. This is a district problem and not school related so in order to have gotten that experience in grade school we would have had to move from the district, we chose to challange our child at home, it was worth the trade off! for the safe school!” This review was posted by a parent.

“The quality of programs and teaching staff is excellent considering the rescources they have. I currently have two children attending. It is a disgrace that the Pawlenty administration won't adequtely fund k-12 education. Music and gifted and talented programs have struggled district-wide.” This review was posted by a parent.

“All three of my children attended this school. I feel that the teachers and staff care both about my childrens' education and their emotional well being. This school has a 'whole person' approach to education and the staff appears very supportive of each other. Unfortunately, there are not any programs for gifted/talented at this time due to budget cuts. However, I feel the faculty is doing a great job with the resources they have. I feel my children have had an overall strong educational foundation from this school.” This review was posted by a parent.
